The annual meeting of OTS and the elections for the Board of Directors for 2019 will be held on Friday, March 1, 2019. Immediately after the elections we welcome two clinical pharmacists as our speakers for this meeting. The speakers are Dr. Jamie Schultz and Dr. Antonia Novak, both transplant pharmacists at the Kovler Organ Transplantation Center at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. Both Dr. Schulte and Dr. Novak will present the latest information about transplant medications, the difference between brand name and generic medications, and what we should do if we ever miss a dose of our meds and more. This is also your chance to ask any questions about transplant medications from two experts in transplant pharmacy.
