The next educational OTS meeting will be held on Friday, September 6, 2024, starting at 7pm CST.   This meeting will be held on the Zoom videoconference system.   The topic of this meeting will be about the Donor Champion Program (DCP) organized by Transplant Village. 

       The two speakers for this meeting will be Ms. Barbara Stewart, Program Coordinator, and Marilyn Day, Patient Support Coordinator, both with Transplant Village.  Barbara Stewart and Marilyn Day will explain The Donor Champion Program and how this program highlights specific ways to find a living donor.   The Donor Champion Program was developed to help transplant patients and their advocates learn ways to find living donors.  When you attend a monthly Donor Champion Program, you will learn skills to effectively tell your story and lesson your fear of asking for a living donor, whether you need a kidney or liver transplant.    

       This OTS meeting is free and is open to the public.  If you know of anyone who is waiting for either a kidney or a liver transplant, please encourage them to attend this important meeting on Friday, Sept. 6, 2024.
